Learn 2 Ride

Learn 2 Ride is open to children ages 4 to 12 that are ready to start learning balancing, gliding, and pedaling skills on a two-wheeled bicycle. Each child and their parent or grown up will learn easy, hands-on techniques that will help build the confidence needed to ride solo on two wheels. Participants will receive step-by-step instruction from volunteers and will have the opportunity to practice what theyve learned on the safe, closed course. Each child will also receive a complimentary bike helmet and proper helmet fitting. If you would like to volunteer for the event please click on the orange volunteer button below.

Participants must pre-register for the event and provide their own bicycle and participating adult.

The Cottage Grove Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all citizens by providing the best possible recreation programs. The Learn 2 Ride program is one of the many ways the Cottage Grove Parks and Recreation Department positively contributes to the Cottage Grove community.
