Fall is in the air! Take advantage of the many fitness classes coming up and get ahead of the holiday season! Paint, cook, workout, play sports, learn…there’s something for everyone!

NEWS......

  • Zombie 5K Run/Walk – Battledarts included!! Sat, Oct 20 beginning at Northlawn Park – Little Zombie’s Kid Run (12 & under) 8:30 a.m. for $20. 5K Run/Walk 9:00 a.m. for $25. Included in registration: Battledarts, warm-up Zumba, T-shirt, water and a snack. Registration closes TONIGHT at midnight! Need 15 more participants to register by midnight for the event to run. More info HERE.

ADULT

  • Wide variety of Fitness Classes beginning soon! All classes located at 210 Progress Dr.
    • Morning Classes
      • P90X on M/W/F from 5:30-6:15 am (10/8-11/2)
      • Cardio/Strength/Core on T/Th from 5:30-6:15 am (10/9-11/1)
      • Zumba on Saturdays from 9:00-10:00 am (10/13-11/3)
    • Lunch Time Class
      • Pilates/Barre on T/Th from 12:00-12:45 pm (10/9-11/1)
      • Staying Fit & Strong (ages 55+) on M/W/F from 1:30-2:15 pm (10/22-11/30)
    • Evening Classes
      • Strength & Abs to Tighten & Tone on M/W from 5:15-6:00 pm (10/8-10/31)
      • Cardio Toning on M/W from 6:15-7:15 pm (10/10-10/29)
      • Power Up on Tuesdays from 5:00-5:45 pm (10/9-10/30)
      • Yoga on Thursdays from 5:30-6:15 pm (10/11-11/1)
      • Hard Core on Thursdays from 6:30-7:15 pm (10/11-11/1)
  • Paint & Sip “Plump-kin”: Thurs, Oct 4 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at 1855 Saloon & Grill $35/person (16x20” canvas) Limited space. Registration closes Oct 4 at 7AM.
  • Women’s Self-Defense: Sess 2: Tues, Oct 9 and Sess 3: Tues, Nov 6. All classes at 5:30-7:00 p.m. at 210 Progress Dr. Instructor is Justin Godfriaux. $20/class.
  • Love Your Camera 101: Learn to use composition and the rules of photography to make your pictures stand out from the rest! Mon, Oct 8 and 15 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at 210 Progress Dr. $65/person *Required Equipment: DSLR Camera, Memory Card, Charged Battery & Owner’s Manual for Camera. Register by Oct 3.
  • Adult Open Gym: Wed, Oct 17 at GDS (only available date until 2019). Then Wed, Jan 2-March 13 (no 1/30). Men ages 35+ and Women at 6:30-8:00 pm; Open at 8:00-9:30 pm.
  • NEW! Cooking Class “Freezer Meals”: Easy and budget friendly meals while you’re on the go! Thurs, Nov 15 from 6:00-8:00 pm at 4548 Falcon Ct. (cook’s kitchen). Taught by Claire Doelger. $40

YOUTH

  • Start Smart – Basketball Camp: Thursdays, 10/11-12/6 from 6:00-6:45 p.m. at Taylor Prairie Gym (no class Oct 25 & Nov 22) Ages 4-5 with parent/guardian. $50 Village Resident/$70 Non-Resident. Limited to 15 kids! No longer taught by Madison College due to lack of players this year. Village staff will lead the camp this year.
  • NEW! String Art Class: Tuesdays, Oct 16 & 23 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at GDS with Courtney Vesperman for 6th-8th Grade. $20/person – Register by Oct 1st.
  • NEW! Kids in the Kitchen: Thurs, Oct 18 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. with Claire Doelger at Abiding Shepherd Church. Theme: Taco Bites & Apple Berry Salsa. $20/person. Space is limited! Registration Deadline: Oct 11.
  • Youth Volleyball: Tues, Oct 30-Dec 18 – 3rd/4th Grade is at 5:30-6:30 pm – 5th/6th Grade is at 6:45-7:45 pm – Both at Taylor Prairie Gym. $50 Resident/$70 Non-Resident. Registration Deadline: Oct 23.
